Biro adapted the screenplay for Bubba from the comic book series by Mitch Hyman. He retained a number of regular characters (including Bobbie Jo, Clovis, and Biker Bob), but also invented a few new onesl, such as bartender Jamie Sue and perpetually inebriated bar patron Drunk Cletus.
Additionally, he reworked the origin story for Bubba, allowing for the character’s transformation to be directly connected to the film’s Devil antagonist.
He is the president and founder of Unearthed Films, a horror DVD label in the United States, and has provided production and writing services for a variety of horror films. |
